Dear Friend,
In all my years as your Chairman of the Ohio Republican Party, I've never been as appalled and disgusted with the Democrats as I am right now.
Ohio Democrat Paul Hackett accused the overwhelming majority of Ohio Republicans of being "un-American" because we voted to support a constitutional amendment to prohibit gay marriage. And he continued"The Republican Party has been hijacked by the religious fanatics that in my opinion aren't a whole lot different than Osama bin Laden and a lot of the other religious nuts around the world. The challenge is for the rest of us moderate Americans and citizens of the world to put down the fork and spoon, turn off the TV, and participate in the process and try to push back on these radical nuts - and they are nuts."
This kind of insulting and divisive hate talk from the Ohio Democrat Party's most recent congressional candidate and current U.S. Senate candidate is shocking.
It tells me the Democrats have no shame.
But everything I know about Ohio politics and our Democrat adversaries tells me that their worst is yet to come.

The Truth!
We need your help; we can't take on these attacks without you!!

I am posting this only to help spread the word about what an imbecile Ohio Democrat Paul Hackett is... likening the GOP leadership to terrorists. Awful! Shameful.
I add to this a stern warning to Bob Bennett... using the moronic utterings of a Democrat to rally the troops and solicit contributions is fine. Likening the moronic utterings of a Democrat to hate speech is NOT.
Ohio Democrat Paul Hackett said something offensive and stupid; but it did not in any way, shape, or form constitute hate speech. The liberal and causal use of the term cheapens the meaning. Lets say what we mean and mean what we say.
