One of the major issues in this year's election has been the following question: Are Kerry's constantly shifting, always changing, mysteriously vascilating core positions better categorized as
waffles or flip-flops?
As early as April of this year, Kerry's shifting position on Iraq during the primaries were attacked as being
waffles by Senator Joe Lieberman.
Running on this idea, Esoteric * Diatribe, with the help of legions of Bush supporters (like
DGCI and the like) helped tell the world who John Kerry really is by seeing to it that the first name people see when
looking up waffles is John Kerry.
Since the glory days of Kerry being linked to
waffles, the term flip-flop jumped on the scene. You can now purchase from some political websites, flip-flops with Kerry's name and face right on them. In recent months, flip-flops has become the nome du jure in the press for Kerry's flipping positions.
Well I am a little curious as to which name YOU prefer:
waffles or flip-flops? I have provided two pics for your viewing pleasure. Personally, I still prefer
waffles to flip flops. One is a tastey breakfast that might smell like maple syrup, the other is a foamy piece of footwear that jams a piece of rubber between your toes and comes to smell like feet. Besides, check out Waffle Man!
Ain't he cute?
And the flip flops...
So which do you like best? As far as I am concerned, it is
waffles all the way...
waffles in the morning,
waffles in the evening,
waffles every day... just like Kerry
waffles every day.
Incase you didn't know, I like talking about
waffles. Particularly Kerry's
waffles. I hope you do too! And with that being said....
