USA Today has an interesting article up,
check it out.
While a teenager, Kerry played bass for a rock group called 'The Electras' which was comprised of Kerry and some fellow classmates of St. Paul's prep school in New Hampshire.
I particularly liked this part of the article:
"On the 10th number, we were finishing up, and all of a sudden, this loud rumble came out," Rand says. "I could hardly believe it. All of us felt very, very embarrassed and thought, 'Yow, what is this?'
"It was John Kerry, facing his amplifier with his instrument, creating feedback. The rest of us were thoroughly horrified, and he was calmly looking around."
