How the Media Elite is covering for Kerry.

Drudge writes

An internal memo written by ABCNEWS Political Director Mark Halperin admonishes ABC staff: During coverage of Democrat Kerry and Republican Bush not to "reflexively and artificially hold both sides 'equally' accountable."

The Halperin memo states in part, "the current Bush attacks on Kerry involve distortions and taking things out of context in a way that goes beyond what Kerry has done. Kerry distorts, takes out of context, and mistakes all the time, but these are not central to his efforts to win." The memo goes on to advocate not covering the candidates "distortions" equally, essentially, the memo advocates ignoring Bush's criticisms of Kerry and giving Kerry an edge in coverage. The Memo advocates defending Kerry from Bush but not vice versa. I am at a total loss for words... ABC is conspiring against the President. ABC is conspiring against the American People. ABC is conspiring against the truth!
